This Saturday is Winnebago Buy Local’s “Eat Local Saturday” First sat of each month, we encourage Winnebago County residents to eat local, whether that is shopping for your meats, cheeses, groceries at a locally owned business, or choosing to eat at a local restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner. Buying local can give our economy a boost, and think of the impact that can be made with everyone working together. www.fb.com/winnebagobuylocal
Use the wonderful world wide web as a resource to find things to do, such as Facebook, www.Rockfordbuzz.com, GoRockford, and Winnebago Buy Local. Support your local businesses. Get off your booty and make Rockford the place YOU want it to be by cultivating the places and events that actually make us unique from anywhere else. Have a great weekend!
